SHEEHY IN THE NEWS:
In a press release, U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT) announced that he will introduce and seek unanimous consent for legislation providing express approval for construction of a Presidential ballroom.
Sheehy has been sucking up to Trump for a couple of years, only to be outdone by chief bootlicker U.S. Senator Steve Daines (R-MT). When Daines leaves in early 2027, Sheehy will become Trump’s chief bootlicker.
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) wants Congress to authorize $400 million for the ballroom and use taxpayer money to pay for it. (Source)
President Trump has repeatedly claimed that his proposed White House ballroom would be paid for through a combination of his own personal funds and private donations.
Meanwhile, people can’t afford healthcare, food, and housing.
In other Sheehy news, in a commentary posted on the Daily Montanan, Doug James writes:
“It wasn’t an election for Tim Sheehy. It was a purchase.”
I read the commentary and posted it on X. It received many likes and comments. Check it out HERE.
SHAME ON WHITEFISH:
In a press release sent to The Western Word, Upper Seven Law announced that the City of Whitefish (MT) has agreed to a $90,000 settlement to resolve accusations that the City and its police officers violated Beker Rengifo Del Castillo’s Constitutional rights. Beker spent almost a week in federal detention after a Whitefish Police Officer called the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) during a traffic stop.
As for background, Upper Seven Law reports that in April 2025, Whitefish City Police Officer Michael Hingiss stopped Beker’s vehicle. Beker entered the United States legally under humanitarian parole and lives in Flathead County. When Hingiss stopped him, Beker presented a valid, unexpired REAL ID-compliant driver’s license along with valid vehicle registration and insurance documents. Beker had no criminal history and was not subject to any federal detainer or order of removal. Moments later, Hingiss called CPB and stated he was “out with a male that only speaks Spanish, wondering if you want to check him.” Hingiss withheld Beker’s driver’s license until CBP agents arrived and took custody of Beker. Beker was wrongfully held at an ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington, for nearly a week. He was ultimately released without explanation.
Shame on the City of Whitefish.

KING CHARLES VISIT:
Here are some stories from King Charles’ visit to Washington, D.C.
Whoops…
15 Australian flags were mistakenly displayed along the streets of Washington, D.C., instead of British Union Jacks to welcome King Charles III’s U.S. visit. The error, which involved confusing the Australian flag’s Union Jack corner with the British flag, was quickly corrected by the D.C. Department of Transportation. (Source)
On the official White House social media account, the White House posted a picture of President Trump and King Charles III with the caption “two Kings” amid the monarch’s visit to the U.S. on Tuesday. Check out the photo HERE.
I am sure that Trump would love to be a king.
JAMES COMEY INDICTED:
We all know that Donald Trump is sensitive. He contacted then Attorney General Pam Bondi, in what was supposed to be a text message, to press her to bring charges against his enemies, which included James Comey.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, former FBI Director James Comey was indicted on charges of threatening President Trump. The indictment stems from a 2025 social media post featuring a photo of seashells arranged into the numbers “8647.”
Prosecutors argue the image was a coded threat, interpreting “86” as slang for “eliminating” or “getting rid of” someone, and “47” as a reference to Donald Trump, the 47th U.S. President.
Beam me up, Scotty.
I watched the DOJ press conference about the indictment. It will make a great skit on Saturday Night Live.
Note to Readers: Be careful what you write in seashells.
ONE MORE THING:
There exists no better time machine than music.
