SENATE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE:

The Associated Press is reporting that the Trump campaign’s interactions with Russian intelligence services during the 2016 presidential election posed a “grave” counterintelligence threat, a Senate panel concluded Tuesday as it detailed how associates of Donald Trump had regular contact with Russians and expected to benefit from the Kremlin’s help.

It’s important to remember that the Senate Intelligence Committee is run by the Republicans.

Reuters has the following to say about the report:

Russia used Republican political operative Paul Manafort and the WikiLeaks website to try to help now-U.S. President Donald Trump win the 2016 election, a Republican-led Senate committee said in its final review of the matter on Tuesday.

Reuters is also reporting that President Vladimir Putin personally directed the Russian efforts to hack computer networks and accounts affiliated with the Democratic Party and leak information damaging to Clinton.

I wonder how much help Comrade Trump will get from Russia in this election.

JILL BIDEN’S EX-HUSBAND:

Trump supporters took to social media to make sure a story from Jill Biden’s ex-husband (Bill Stevenson) was publicized. Stevenson claims his wife (Jill) had an affair with Joe Biden while married to him. They divorced in 1975. Joe and Jill Biden married in 1977.

So here we are 43 years later.

Ironically the story hits the news a day or so before Jill Biden was scheduled to speak at the Democratic National Convention. The ex-husband is supposedly writing a book. Hmm…

To see the Trump supporters post the story is amusing considering their guy, Donald J. Trump is on his third wife. It’s been reported that Trump cheated on his first wife with his second wife. It’s been reported that he cheated on his second wife with his third wife. There are stories that around the time his last child was born, he had sex with a porn star. He likes to “grab” women, too.

THE FACT CHECK:

Trump supporters were happy that the Associated Press (AP) “Fact Checked” a line from former first lady Michelle Obama’s speech Monday night. Several Trump supporters posted the story and probably shouted with glee.

Obama said, “They watch in horror as children are torn from their families and thrown into cages.”

The AP reports:

The reference to cages is misleading and a matter that Democrats have persistently distorted.
Trump used facilities that were built during the Obama-Biden administration to house children at the border. 

The AP added a little later in the Fact Check that the former first lady was correct, however, in addressing the removal of children from parents at the border.

On a friend’s social media page, a Trump supporter commented about the AP fact check:

This dumd [sic] bitch. Her husband built the cages.

The funny part is that his name is right beside it for all to see.

ONE MORE THING:
