We will make America strong again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And we will make America great again. – Donald Trump
Welcome to the big show to end the week “Caught My Eye” (CME)!
If you are a first-time visitor, CME is posted right here every Friday morning. This is when I take a look at some of the stories I did not have time to write about during the week. I often throw in a touch of sarcasm to make you smile – or to irritate you just a little – maybe both.
Topics that I am providing commentary on today include Inauguration Day 2017, Trump’s first day, Obama’s Clemencies, Montana Cowgirl Blog, Hold My Beer & Watch This, One More Thing, and much more!
Freedom, well, that’s just some people talking. Your prison is walking through this world all alone. – The Eagles (Desperado)
Welcome to the big show – on Friday the 13th of November – let’s be careful out there!
If you are a first-time visitor, “Caught My Eye” has been posted here every Friday morning since October 2010! This column is where I take a look at some of the stories I did not have time to write about during the week. Sometimes I throw in a touch of sarcasm to make you smile – or to irritate you just a little – maybe both.
Today I write about the Cascade County recount, Zinke & veterans, Daines & ObamaCare, and we have a winner who is Making Montana Proud! Plus there’s a “Pro Tip” for the week!
Hello Monday! It’s time for another odds and ends edition from the past weekend! When there are several stories out there that I want to comment about, I combine them into one column and call it “Potpourri” or “Odds & Ends” or something catchy to get your attention.
It looks like we have a race for an open seat on the Montana Supreme Court brewing!
State District Court Judge Dirk Sandefur announced in February that he would run for the seat being vacated by Justice Patricia O. Cotter. You can view his website HERE.
Earlier this week, the Great Falls Tribune reported that Kristen Gustafson Juras of Great Falls had filed for election to the Montana Supreme Court. I first read the news Monday via Twitter from Troy Carter who writes for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle (BDC). You can read the BDC story HERE. The campaign website for Juras will go live June 1. You can view her website HERE.
