The Sunday Message

President Trump has nominated a stunningly successful individual. You’ve watched the fight, you’ve watched the tactics, but here’s what I want to tell you, in the very near future Judge Kavanaugh will be on the United States Supreme Court. – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

Those were comforting words on Friday (Sept. 21) from McConnell for the attendees of the Values Voter Summit being held this weekend in Washington, D.C.

McConnell also told those in attendance to “Keep the faith. Don’t get rattled by all of this. We’re gonna plow right through it and do our jobs.”

The Values Voter Summit is an annual event and according to their website:

Values Voter Summit was created in 2006 to provide a forum to help inform and mobilize citizens across America to preserve the bedrock values of traditional marriage, religious liberty, sanctity of life and limited government that make our nation strong.

If you are a conservative, this is the place to speak. You can see who is speaking at the event by clicking HERE. Speakers this year range from Vice President Mike Pence to actor Dean Cain.

Next week will be interesting with regard to the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh.

We’ll see how faith plays a role in it.

In a democracy, dissent is an act of faith. – J. William Fulbright

Have a great week!

Topics that I am providing commentary about today include Trump coming to Great Falls, the Robert O’Neill interview, Justice Kennedy replacement, plus One More Thing that you don’t want to miss!

Caught My Eye…

I ain’t as good as I once was,
My how the years have flown,
But there was a time,
Back in my prime,
When I could really hold my own
– As Good As I Once Was (Scott Emerick /Toby Keith)
