Welcome! Here are the topics for today’s common sense commentary:
- Absentee Ballots Returned
- Sheehy on Voting
- Rallying the Assets
- One More Thing
ABSENTEE BALLOTS RETURNED:
NBC Montana is reporting that, with 8 days left until Election Day, the Montana Secretary of State’s Office reports that voters have returned 180,137 absentee ballots to county election offices as of 4:21 a.m. on Monday. That represents 34.39% of 523,737 ballots that were issued to voters so far. (Source)
Don’t forget to return your ballot!
SHEEHY ON VOTING:
Forbes reports that U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy (R-MT) spoke at a rally in Belgrade, Montana, about the importance of voting. Sheehy told rally-goers to “vote as many times as you possibly can.”
Sheehy said:
And that means in eight days, if you haven’t already voted, you need to vote. And you need to tell your friends to vote and your families to vote. Vote by mail. Vote early. Vote often. They do. So vote as many times as you possibly can. (Source)
So here we have a United States Senator telling people to vote as many times as they possibly can, and nothing will be done about it.
RALLYING THE ASSETS:
During a campaign rally in Port Huron, Michigan, on Sunday, October 25, 2026, Donald Trump told a crowd of supporters that rapper Nicki Minaj has “one hell of a beautiful ass” and added that “it’s hard to miss.” (Source)
People reported:
“I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before — Nicki Minaj,” Trump, 80, told supporters at a rally Sunday in Michigan, nine days before the midterm elections. “That’s hard to miss.”
Trump is a rambling, unhinged geriatric whose brain is visibly decomposing on stage.
ONE MORE THING:
People trying to deport U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar because they think she married her brother are the exact same people who had to name their kid “Markwayne” because they couldn’t tell which cousin was the father.
