“Dan Wilson’s record as a judge. A criminal who strangled his girlfriend. Wilson suspended his sentence. That violent criminal did it again. Another man possessed child pornography of kids as young as three. Wilson let him walk. Another predator faced ten years for child pornography. Wilson suspended his entire sentence, and that predator did it again. Time and again, Wilson gave predators a second chance, instead of protecting us. Dan Wilson’s judgement? To dangerous for our Supreme Court.”

As I wrote earlier, Wilson has basically sold his soul to the Montana Republican Party. Do we need a MAGA judge on the Montana Supreme Court? I think not. 

Amy Eddy is my choice. She says that “On the Supreme Court, I will protect our freedoms, guard our Constitution, hold criminals accountable, and apply the law fairly. I believe deeply that we must keep politics out of the courtroom.”  

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT:

You would think that by 2026, businesses would fully understand ADA regulations regarding service dogs. Unfortunately, that’s still not the case—as clearly demonstrated by two establishments in White Sulphur Springs, Montana. (ADA)

According to several reports, including this one from NonStop Local, Helena veteran Russ Christian said two White Sulphur Springs businesses turned him away when he tried to enter with his service dog. Christian said he served 15 years in the U.S. Navy and later began dealing with mobility issues and PTSD after his honorable discharge. He said those challenges led him to seek help through Veterans Affairs, which connected him with K-9 Care Montana.

He was then paired with Andy, a service dog he said has been by his side for nearly two years. Christian said Andy helps with mobility and alerts him when something needs his attention. 

The bartender yelled at Christian and Andy.

Apparently, the two businesses have apologized for the refusal of service to the veteran. 

MIDTERM ELECTIONS ALERT:

The upcoming election represents a critical stress test for democratic institutions, driven by the profound national shifts and deep political polarization accelerated by Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.

In other words, Trump will cheat to try to hold on to power.

Reuters has a very interesting article titled, 

“Nine ways the Trump administration could interfere with the midterms”

Reuters asked dozens of election administrators and legal experts what they fear could happen before and after Election Day. While many officials expressed confidence in elections in their own states and counties, they pointed to a broad array of risks, from federal seizure of ballots and voting equipment to troop deployments, immigration raids near polling places and challenges to election results. 

Here are the highlights:

• Trump alleges election fraud or compromised voting machines
• Pressuring election officials to change or cancel results
• Seizing ballots or voting equipment
• Federal election monitors interfere with voting
• ICE presence near polling sites
