Hello! Here are the topics for today’s column:

REPUBLICAN & DEMOCRATIC PARTIES:
The Republican and Democratic parties in Montana are great examples of why people dislike political parties.
A recent Pew Research poll found that 58% of U.S. adults have an unfavorable view of the Republican Party. A nearly identical share (59%) have an unfavorable view of the Democratic Party. (Source)
We have spent the last two years or so watching the Montana Republican Party fight over RINOs. Recently, the Democrats have hit a few speed bumps over the U.S. Senate race.
On Monday, social media posts said that the Montana Democrats sent the wrong statement about U.S. Senate candidate Alani Bankhead, saying the Party “respected her decision to suspend her campaign for U.S. Senate.” She did not withdraw. (Source)
On Tuesday, the Montana Democrats held a press conference that I tried to listen to, but the audio was poor, so I turned it off. Reports say they complained about threats. NBC Montana reported it this way:
At the press conference party leaders say they were receiving “threats” throughout the process and they’re looking to coalesce as a party around Democratic Senate nominee Alani Bankhead.
“What happened to Alani Bankhead, myself, my staff, our executive board was unacceptable. It seems the independent candidate had no plan other than to get on the ballet (sic) and then enlist bullies to go after the Democratic nominee with intimidation tactics,” Emily Marburger, the executive director of the Montana Democratic Party, told reporters.
I don’t know what the grand plan was for Bankhead and Bodnar, but it appears it failed. Unfortunately, the plan that Steve Daines and Kurt Alme came up with looks like a winner.
VOTING BY MAIL:
The MAGAs led by President Donald Trump want to do away with voting by mail.
Trump has repeatedly criticized mail-in voting, famously declaring that “mail-in voting means mail-in cheating” and claiming the practice is “inherently corrupt.” He argues that universal mail-in voting invites widespread voter fraud, despite multiple independent audits finding no evidence of widespread abuse. While he has admitted to winning elections where mail-in ballots were used, he maintains that he “hates mail-in ballots.” (Source) (Source)
The Bipartisan Policy Center says, “Mail voting is a safe, secure, and reliable method used by voters of all political parties.” (Source)
The Associated Press (AP) reports that a federal judge on Tuesday ruled against President Donald Trump’s executive order that sought to create a federal voter list and directly involve the U.S. Postal Service in election operations in a way that would limit mail voting.
You can bet that when the Republicans lose majorities in the U.S. House and possibly the U.S. Senate, they will say the Democrats cheated. The actual reason they will lose the majorities is because of high gas prices, the high cost of living, and the war in Iran.
HUNTER BIDEN’S MEDIA TOUR:
Former President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, has been making the rounds doing interviews. We found out during the interviews that former President Biden’s prostate cancer has spread to other parts of his body and is causing him pain.
Hunter Biden told the BBC that “The cancer has spread, is metastasized into his bones, and further, it’s very painful, and it’s very debilitating in many respects.” Please say a prayer for former President Biden.
Hunter Biden has done interviews with Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Don Lemon, BBC News, and the Macrodosing podcast.
I am happy to see Hunter doing well. I wish him the best as he battles his demons.
ONE MORE THING:
Remember when you could strangle people with your phone? Those were the days…
## THE END ##

Another one.

That so?
“On October 16, Fulton County ordered October 16th, 2023 weeks before the election, after the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot. By the way, under Georgia law, Fulton County ordered 1.6 million absentee ballots from their vendor run back. And they ordered those without envelopes. You cannot use an absentee ballot unless it’s folded and put into an envelope. And one of the things that we had observers saying and was part of our election contest in 2020, is that here are all these pristine ballots that have never been folded. They cannot possibly be real ballots.”
Secure, really? Mail in ballots can be stolen, paid for, or conveniently lost.
And people can be abducted on the way to vote and someone can go in their place using their ID!
Voting by mail is safe & secure.
There are checks along the way that would catch all the ways you said it was not secure. -JmB
The NY Times in 2012 wrote this about mail in voting.

Thanks for your comment. There may have been issues back in 2012, but since then studies about voting by mail has shown it to be safe and secure.
It’s a shame MAGAs want to make it harder to vote. -JmB
“faulty ballots COULD impact elections” doesn’t mean they did or will. Post a NYT article or op-ed from 2020 that claims that happened when trumpsky lost that election.
Post any reports by REPUTABLE sources that such has occurred. And, the liar-in-chief is anything but a reputable source about anything.
