The Monday Memo

Remember, if you can’t say something nice…make it funny. –Unknown

Today’s independent commentary deals with these people/issues:

  • Tester, Jon Tester
  • Dominion Voting Systems
  • Kyle Rittenhouse
  • Chiefs vs. Raiders
  • One More Thing

TESTER, JON TESTER:

In case you missed it, Jon Tester might qualify for the endangered species list come January. That’s when will be the only statewide elected Democrat left in Montana.

He’ll still be the senior Senator for the state and depending on how run-offs go in Georgia in early January, he may be in the majority in the U.S. Senate. Plus, the President of the United States will be Joe Biden – a fellow Democrat.

Lee Newspapers interviewed Tester and got his thoughts about what the Democrats need to do to win in rural America. Check it out HERE.

Tester will be just fine. He can be a U.S. Senator as long as he wants to be.

DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS:

There are a lot of people posting fake information about Dominion Voting Systems saying they fixed the election for Joe Biden. Some of the stuff being posted is pretty wild.

USA Today fact checks the fake news HERE. The Associated Press does it HERE.

KYLE RITTENHOUSE:

The Washington Post reported that Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old charged in the fatal shooting of two people and the wounding of another in Kenosha, Wis. in late August, was released from jail on Friday after posting $2 million in bail.

The Post also said that one of Rittenhouse’s lawyers credited “NYPD Blue” actor Ricky Schroder and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell with “putting us over the top.”

CHIEFS VS. RAIDERS:

How about those Kansas City Chiefs? They whipped the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday night 35-31 in a very exciting game. The Chiefs are 9-1. The Raiders are 6-4.

Go Chiefs!

ONE MORE THING:

I will be posting fewer columns this week. Please have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful.

Thanks for reading!
