Monday morning as I was watching the House Judiciary Committee hearing on the impeachment of President Donald Trump, I thought of the song “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne, “I’m going off the rails on a crazy train.”
It seemed both sides were a little crazy, not to mention cranky. There were a few times that the committee train ran off the rails.
The House Democrats seem to be “all in” on this impeachment exercise. They are betting the House – the House of Representatives on impeaching Trump. We’ll see come November how the voters feel.
Maybe they should look at how the Republican impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton worked out for the Republicans.
The Democrats hope they can impeach Trump or damage him enough that he does not get reelected. That’s their goal.
They may end up making voters feel sorry for the old guy.
As for the Republicans, many of them once hated Trump but now he is like the rich uncle that you don’t want to piss off. Some Republicans, like ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee Doug Collins, are nothing but pure assholes.
House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerrold Nadler has not been spotless. He seems like he is lost most of the time. It might be better if he was placed in a room facing a bare wall.
The attorneys for both sides involved in this mess are pretty much worthless. The attorneys for the Republicans and Democrats are questioning attorneys for Republicans and Democrats. It was a lot like watching paint dry.
When Republicans and Democrats questioned their witnesses, they had softball questions or just rambled on with a statement. It was asinine.
This is our democracy in action! I think the average Joe and Jane are growing sick of the partisan shit coming out of D.C.
Reuters reported late Monday evening that Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives were expected to unveil two articles of impeachment against Republican President Donald Trump on Tuesday, a senior Democratic aide said, setting the stage for a possible vote this week on impeachment.
Reuters also reported that the Democrats were expected to draft articles of impeachment on abuse of power and on obstruction of Congress.
So this is what we’ve come to in the United States of America. As I have written many times before, the House will vote to impeach President Trump, but the Senate won’t convict him.

Yes the so called impeachment was so important that every major TV station and cable carried it. Pissing many of us regular Price is Right fans off to miss our show. There went the last few Montana Democrat voter down the drain. I was forced to watch reruns of Gunsmoke that I had seen so many times I was repeating Festus lines before he said them. When Big Valley came on which I dislike ( reminds me to much of the Trump family) I was forced back to the hearing to watch Matt Gaetz scream his head off(the part not all the way up Trump’s behind) and if Trump is re-elected Gaetz certainly should be in line to head up the FBI (guess he claims to be a lawyer). Well all in all kind of reminds me of two loud mouth drunks at the local bar. Each throwing insults at each other all night as the rest of the customers ignore them going about their business because we all know the same two drunks will repeat their show next Saturday night and nothing changes. What a sorry state our nation is in.
