The True Enemy of the People:
On October 29, the President said the following in a Tweet:
There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame…
I think we all know that just about any media outlet that is not Fox News is “fake news” to the President. I’ve followed and been involved in politics for decades and all Presidents have issues with the media. They all learn to handle it and work together, except Trump. He wants to bully them. It won’t work.
The fact is there are no reporters or news organization covering the White House who are the “true Enemy of the People.” They are journalists trying to do a job. We should applaud them for doing it. They are the fourth estate.
Troops to the Border:
The Associated Press is reporting that the Pentagon said it’s sending 5,200 troops to the Southwest border in an extraordinary military operation ordered up just a week before midterm elections.
The President seems to believe that making sure his base of supporters are worried about an invasion will make them get out a vote for Republicans.
This whole migrant caravan thing is asinine. The truth is the President is spending millions to send these troops to the border to help win elections.
On Monday Fox News anchor Shepard Smith put it this way, “There is no invasion. No one is coming to get you. There is nothing at all to worry about.”
Smith added, “Tomorrow, the migrants, according to Fox News reporting, are almost two months away, if any of them actually come here,” he said. “But tomorrow is one week before the midterm election, which is what all of this is about.”
The people who are worried about the migrant caravan must be a special kind of stupid…
Trump in Bozo:
President Donald J. Trump will be back in Montana later this week campaigning for U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale.
The event will be held at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, 225 Aviation Lane, (ER-3 Hangar) on Saturday, November 3. The doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the event begins at 12:30 p.m.

Hashtag for Trump’s Visit:
Since this will be the President’s fourth trip to Montana to try and defeat Democrat U.S. Senator Jon Tester, I thought a special hashtag would be in order to use on Twitter and Facebook.
I suggest we use #TrumpBozo when tweeting about the event.
Cordillera Communications:
Cordillera Communications announced it will sell 15 of its 16 stations to The E.W. Scripps Company. It will sell its Tucson station to Quincy Media, Inc.
According to a press release from E.W. Scripps, the Montana stations are:
KPAX and KAJJ, a CBS affiliate in Missoula, Montana
KTVQ, a CBS affiliate in Billings, Montana
KXLF/KBZK, the CBS affiliate in Butte-Bozeman, Montana
KRTV, the CBS affiliate, and KTGF, the NBC affiliate, in Great Falls, Montana
KTVH, the NBC affiliate, and KXLH, the CBS affiliate, in Helena, Montana
After the sale is complete, I suggest E.W. Scripps find news anchors to work in Montana who can read…
It’s gonna be a tough choice in Bozeman. Trump is scheduled to start spewing his usual unhinged pack of lies at 12:30. That will last for about 75 minutes. MSU/CalPoly kick-off is 2pm. What is a diehard Trumpfan/Catfan gonna do?
I’m just glad those stations aren’t going to the nation’s second largest owner (behind FOX) of rightwing propaganda TV at Sinclair Broadcasting.
Taking away 5200 troops from their homes for the holidays to man the border against a refugee caravan of women, children and old folks a week before Election Day is a blatant racist, fearmongering political stunt. The refugees MIGHT make it to their stated destination at Tijuana by the end of the year. The only aid the refugees are receiving is from Mexican townsfolk along the way.
Doug – Thank you. Very well said. -JmB
