U.S. House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) scares me. Not because he looks like an older “Eddie Munster” but because he wants to dramatically cut spending in Washington.
Ryan writes in this article that his “budget cuts $6.2 trillion in spending from the president’s budget over the next 10 years and puts the nation on track to pay off our national debt.”
Ryan scares me the same way as when I was a child and I knew that loose tooth I had needed to be pulled. It was going to hurt to pull it because a new tooth was coming in behind it.
That’s what we are facing in Federal Government these days – some pain – sadly there’s probably more pain than that of a loose tooth. Continue reading
