You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.   – Winston Churchill

Welcome to the Big Show – “Caught My Eye!”

If you are a first-time visitor, “Caught My Eye” is posted here every Friday morning. This column is where I take a look at some of the stories I did not have time to write about during the week. Sometimes I throw in a touch of sarcasm to make you smile – or to irritate you just a little – maybe both.

Today I provide independent commentary about the Montana Legislature, Loretta Lynch & the Montana delegation, Adam Sanchez, Jr., & Cascade County, former Judge G. Todd Baugh, former General David Petraeus, and Barry Bonds. Plus, we have a winner who is Making Montana Proud!

Buckle up…

Clemens Trial: Dismiss it

Government prosecutors sure have a tough time when it comes to prosecuting baseball players (and others like Rod Blagojevich, Sen. Ted Stevens, etc.).

The latest ineptness from our government lawyers is that a mistrial was declared in the Roger Clemens trial today (July 14).  The prosecution showed evidence in front of the jury that had been ruled inadmissible by the Judge.

–”Centerfield” by John Fogerty
