Caught My Eye…

There is a huge amount of freedom that comes to you when you take nothing personally. ― Don Miguel Ruiz

Wow. It’s the end of August.

Welcome to the big show to end the week “Caught My Eye” (CME)!

If you are a first-time visitor, CME is posted right here every Friday morning. This is when I take a look at some of the stories I did not have time to write about during the week. I often throw in a touch of sarcasm to make you smile – or to irritate you just a little – maybe both.

Topics that I am providing commentary about today include Trump returns to Montana, the MetraPark, Great Falls Public Schools, and much more!

Caught My Eye…

Congratulations on making it to another Friday!

Today is kind of a sad day and many Montanans have heavy hearts because Montana’s Walter Breuning, the world’s oldest man, died yesterday. He was 114 years-old. I actually met Walter a couple of times and found him to be a very nice person. Walter was a celebrity and stories were written about him from all around the world. Unfortunately, a few politicians used him to get attention. RIP Walter!

This week I take a look at a new band, toddlers drinking, failure on cable news, bridges, and the messages in my political inbox!

For folks visiting for the first time, Caught My Eye is a weekly column posted on Friday mornings where I take a look at some of the stories I did not have time to comment about during the week – and sometimes I add a little sarcasm!

So sit back and enjoy another edition of Caught My Eye… Continue reading
