FINAL CAMPAIGN MAILERS UPDATE:
Throughout the campaign season, I keep a close eye on all the political literature that comes my way—both the mailers flooding my mailbox and the flyers left on my doorstep.
This is the last count for the campaign season.
By last week, my campaign mailer count sat at 40. Over the past seven days, I picked up 2 more pieces, bringing the total to 42 mailers as of Monday, November 2, 2026.
During the primary season, I received 83 mailers.
Please make sure you save your mailers and recycle them!
VOTING IN MONTANA:
The Daily Montanan reported on Monday that with one day left until midterm Election Day polls close in Montana, more than 300,000 votes have already been cast.
The Montana Secretary of State’s office reported that as of Sunday night, 56.6% of the more than 530,000 absentee ballots sent out had been returned, including around 45,000 from Yellowstone County, 41,000 from Missoula County, 34,000 from Gallatin County and more than 31,000 from Flathead County.
Of course, Cascade County was not mentioned. Election officials in Cascade County seem to have a hard time quickly counting the votes. I don’t expect an announcement about the vote totals from them until sometime Wednesday.
“JONESTOWN” VIRAL INTERVIEW:
Tom Hoyle is the 57-year-old man who went viral after appearing on Fox News during Donald Trump’s October 29, 2026, rally in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Here’s what happened (Source):
Fox News correspondent Lucas Tomlinson approached Hoyle and asked:
Reporter: “Tom, why are you here this morning?”
Hoyle: “Well, in the late ’70s, I was a little too young to get involved and go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I’ll ever get, so that’s why I’m here.”
The reporter looked confused and asked, “Wait, the Jonestown Massacre?”
Hoyle responded:
“That’s right. There’s nothing like seeing a cult right up front, man.”
The reporter quickly realized he wasn’t interviewing a Trump supporter!
Hoyle is correct – the MAGA movement is a cult.
TRUMP’S FINAL MIDTERM MESSAGE:
In a surprising detour from the campaign trail, a visibly exhausted President Donald Trump dedicated the majority of his speech to discussing Washington, D.C.’s Reflecting Pool. By the way, Trump is 80 years old – too old to be President.
CNBC reported:
President Donald Trump delivered his final scheduled public speech before the 2026 midterm elections at the newly refilled Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., highlighting a $14 million renovation project and making a late pitch to voters.
President Donald Trump began his final scheduled in-person speech before Election Day with lengthy remarks about the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
Trump first mentioned the election more than 20 minutes into the speech, calling it “the most important midterm, I believe, in our lifetime.”
I figure that Trump sees the writing on the wall. He is starting to realize that the MAGAs are going to lose big time Tuesday night.
ONE MORE THING:
My grandfather knew the Titanic would sink, and he tried to warn everyone. He screamed, he pointed, and he begged people to listen before it was too late.
Finally, he was escorted out of the theater.
