COMMUNIST LOBBYING? 

Should data centers find a foothold in Montana despite local pushback, residents won’t have to search hard for someone to blame. The responsibility will fall squarely on U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy.

The Daily Wire is reporting on the comments recently made by Sheehy:

Montana GOP Sen. Tim Sheehy blasted calls for a moratorium on new data centers Monday, warning that restricting their construction would kill American jobs and threaten the country’s technological future.

“First they killed our timber mills, then our mines, then our factories — now data centers,” Sheehy said.

Sheehy’s response came after Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) publicly called for a moratorium on the construction of new artificial intelligence server farms, claiming three-quarters of the country backs such a pause. 

“Every good-paying, middle-class employment powerhouse has been systematically murdered by globalist and communist lobbying in America sending those jobs, that industry, and all of its economic impact overseas,” Sheehy wrote. 

“Might be interesting to see if Sheehy has a connection with data centers.” That’s a statement that I read on social media—and it’s exactly what I was thinking about when I read his pro-data center remarks. 

MAJOR JASON WATSON:

In case you missed it, U.S. Air Force Major Jason Watson faces 10 criminal counts under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), including rare violations of Article 88 for contemptuous remarks against the president. (Source)

What did he do?

According to a video from CNN, in July 2026, Watson was detained in full uniform on the U.S. Capitol steps while holding an “Impeach, Convict, Remove” sign targeting President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance over the administration’s actions regarding the war in Iran.

This month (August 2026), after being released, Watson gave an interview on CNN (OutFront) calling the president a failure, accusing him of violating the Constitution, breaking the law, and engaging in corruption. He was arrested again the next day and placed in pretrial confinement. 

Although I agree with most of what he said about President Donald Trump, Watson crossed the line. As explained in this article:

Service members do not have the same latitude as civilians to criticize elected leaders. For this reason, Watson’s case falls under the military justice system rather than ordinary politics. Defense Department rules also restrict partisan political activity by troops in uniform. 

I am sure that Trump’s minions, like Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, will ensure Watson is punished to the full extent of military law. 

NFL PRO BOWL:

ESPN reports that the NFL is eliminating the Pro Bowl Games, shifting the focus to celebrating the honor of being a Pro Bowl selection.

Beginning with the 2026 season, 88 players will be named to the Pro Bowl class in late December, with no replacement selections.

I completely get where they were coming from and support the decision. When it came down to actual game time, nobody wanted to tackle out of fear of injuring themselves or someone else. But once they switched to flag football, that’s where I officially tuned out.
