LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL:

The Billings Big Sky Little League team is in the Mountain Region championship game. The game will be played Friday (today) in San Bernardino, California. The game starts at 3:00 p.m. (Montana time) and will be televised on ESPN.

The winner earns a trip to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

TRUMP MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY: 

In case you missed it, President Donald Trump recently started a new service on Truth Social, called Truth API, that charges up to $100,000 a month for faster access to Truth Social posts from the president and other high-profile users of the platform. 

Now the lawsuits are starting. NPR is reporting that two media organizations sued President Trump on Wednesday over his social media platform Truth Social’s new service offering faster access to his often market-moving posts, calling it “extraordinary, corrupt, and unconstitutional.” 

The Intercept and the nonprofit Freedom of the Press Foundation alleged that the Truth Social offering runs afoul of the First Amendment’s guarantee of equal public access to the president’s statements and also violates the Fifth Amendment by granting preferential access for “unreasonable sums.” The suit asks a federal court in New York to block the president from posting official government information exclusively on Truth Social. 

When Trump is no longer President, I expect Truth Social to go down the toilet. 

U.S. NATIONAL DEBT:

It’s been a while since I mentioned the national debt. The U.S. National Debt is:

Every Presidential administration, U.S. Senator, and U.S. Representative are responsible for the debt we have.
