TODAY – FREE AMERICA WALKOUT:

There’s a Free America Walkout today in Great Falls (and probably in other places in Montana). The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. Montana time)

JANUARY 20, 2026:

Today marks the end of the first year of President Donald Trump’s second term. I cannot put into words how terrible I feel about Trump as our President. He has taken the Presidency down the toilet.

One poll shows that 58% feel that Trump’s first year was a failure. His job approval earlier this month showed 61% disapprove. (Source

The good news (for people like me) is that Mother Jones reports:

Voters are souring on Trump personally and on his agenda. And it’s an election year.

Montana elected officials like U.S. Senator Steve Daines, U.S. Representative Ryan Zinke, and U.S. Representative Troy Downing (who are all up for reelection this year) should take notice.

The sad thing is that none of Montana’s elected officials has the balls to take on or go against Trump. Montanans don’t like “Yes” men.

History will not be kind to them.

THE TEXT EXCHANGE:

I had to double and then triple-check to see if the text exchange between Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere and U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Greenland was valid.

Sadly, it is true. Here is Trump’s text (Source):

“Dear Jonas: Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America. Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? There are no written documents, it’s only that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also. I have done more for NATO than any other person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States. The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland. Thank you! President DJT”

Can you believe this crap? Trump is so fixated on the Nobel Peace Prize that he is threatening Norway.

Members of Congress need to stand up to Trump. He is unhinged.

NATURALIZATION CEREMONIES:

I shook my head in disbelief when I read the following in The Hill:

President Trump’s decision to suspend naturalization ceremonies is leaving residents across the country in an unusual position, now stuck in limbo after they were on the verge of gaining U.S. citizenship.

These people are one step from becoming U.S. Citizens.

Shame on Trump.
