Greetings! Here are the topics for today’s column:

GREAT FALLS MUNICIPAL ELECTION:
If you are a voter in Great Falls, then you should check out an article from the Montana Free Press (MTFP) titled, “Mayoral challenger pitches her vision.”
The MTFP does an in-depth interview with Great Falls Mayoral candidate Jasmine Taylor. Her opponent is incumbent Cory Reeves. The MTFP published its interview with Reeves last week. You can view it HERE.
As I have written before, I can’t vote for Reeves as almost every time he gavels in the city commission, he raises taxes, fees, or rates.
Taylor is more qualified for the job than Reeves and has some good ideas about growth and planning that will help the city.
Check out the interview HERE.
GIANFORTE & TURNING POINT:
Turning Point USA announced on Monday that it would hold events at several schools, including one at Montana State University in Bozeman on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The event will feature Vivek Ramaswamy and Governor Greg Gianforte. The event will be hosted by the TPUSA chapter at Montana State University.
More information can be found HERE.
KIMMEL & TYLENOL:
There were some interesting happenings on Monday!
First, in case you missed it, ABC announced that “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Will return Tuesday night (TONIGHT).
Readers may remember that Kimmel was suspended indefinitely after an announcement from station owner Nexstar that its ABC-affiliated stations were dropping the program “for the foreseeable future” and criticism from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Brendan Carr due to Kimmel’s remarks regarding the MAGA movement’s reaction to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. (Source)
I imagine the Tuesday night show will get some high ratings. As for me, I will wait for the highlights on Wednesday, as I will be in bed. I can’t wait for the Trump response!
Later in the day, President Donald J. Trump and U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. announced bold new actions to confront the nation’s autism spectrum disorder (ASD) epidemic, which has surged nearly 400% since 2000 and now affects 1 in 31 American children. (Source)
I do not know if the data used in the last paragraph is true or not because it came from HHS Secretary Kennedy’s agency.
The hilarious part of the announcement was listening to Trump trying to pronounce acetaminophen. (Source)
Trump said stupid things about Tylenol. The Associated Press (AP reports:
“Don’t take Tylenol,” Trump instructed pregnant women around a dozen times during the unwieldy White House news conference, also urging mothers not to give their infants the drug, known by the generic name acetaminophen. He also fueled long-debunked claims that ingredients in vaccines or timing shots close together could contribute to rising rates of autism in the U.S., without providing any medical evidence.
Like I said yesterday, Trump and Kennedy are going to destroy government healthcare and the research that goes with it.
ONE MORE THING:
Without freedom of speech, we would not know who the idiots are.
