The Coup Attempt

“Thursday Numbers” is normally published today, but due to the events in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, that column will not be published until next week.

Back in August, I wrote about the United States being close to a civil war. On Wednesday, it seemed for a while that it was starting.

It seemed to build up as Trump supporters held a rally in Washington, D.C., and as the speakers took the stage, the crowd seemed more agitated with each speech. They had Rudy Giuliani talk about “trial by combat” and Trump, Jr., threatening to primary Republicans who did not support his daddy. Most speakers talked about “fighting” for the election.
