TRUMP ENDORSES DAINES:

To no one’s surprise, President Donald Trump endorsed U.S. Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) in his reelection bid. 

Trump wrote on Truth Social: 

Steve Daines is a Great Man, and TREMENDOUS Senator, representing the Fantastic People of Montana. I love Montana, won every one of my Races there by a landslide, and would only recommend the best to represent you in the Senate!

As Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), Steve worked tirelessly with me in the last Election to help elect smart, tough, and sincere America First Patriots. In the Senate, Steve is fighting hard to Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes, Secure the Border, Stop Migrant Crime, Support our Military/Vets, Unleash American Energy Dominance, Restore PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.

Senator Steve Daines, of the Great State of Montana, has my Complete and Total Endorsement — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!

Daines has been infatuated with Trump and places his allegiance to him and the MAGA movement above all else.

EARTH DAY 2025:

Today (Tuesday, April 22) is Earth Day! According to the Earth Day website, Earth Day’s 2025 theme is OUR POWER, OUR PLANET, calling for everyone to unite around renewable energy so we can triple clean electricity by 2030.

TRUMP’S APPROVAL RATING:

In case you missed the report from Gallup that was released last week:

Gallup Polling is reporting that President Donald Trump is closing out the first quarter of his second term in office with an average 45% job approval rating, higher than the 41% earned in his first term but well below all other post-World War II presidents elected in the U.S. The average first-quarter rating for all presidents elected from 1952 to 2020 is 60%. 

In other words, with the election of Trump, we elected a lemon compared to other recent Presidents.  

This poll is good news for Democrats with the midterm elections approaching. If the Democrats can take control of the House and/or Senate, they will be able to stop the MAGA train in its tracks.

  1. While it may be Earth Day and Our Power Our Planet day around the rest of the globe, to no one’s surprise some of the MAGA luddites in Helena have spent this session trying to wage war on renewable energy in Montana. Particularly on wind energy.

    This Electric/UM Montana story covers the issue and notes that Montana is rated as having one of the best wind energy potentials in the USA. But still our luddites wage war on it.

    • I read that one person said he did not like seeing the turbines because they ruin the view. Interesting angle. -JmB
