I’m running a little late today because of a doctor’s appointment. The bad news for my MAGA friends is that I am healthy.

The whole country is watching how the MAGA Republicans in the Montana Legislature are treating transgender lawmaker, State Representative Zooey Zephyr.
The Montana Free Press (MTFP) reported that protesters temporarily shut down business in the Montana House of Representatives Monday after Republican leadership again refused to call on Rep. Zooey Zephyr, extending an ongoing standoff stemming from the transgender lawmaker’s comments last week against a bill to ban gender-affirming medical care for transgender minors.
Some reports said seven protestors were arrested.
I saw that some on social media were comparing this little protest to the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. That comparison is bullshit.
I applaud the protestors for raising awareness and I commend Rep. Zephyr for her stand and courage. Shame on the Republican leaders in the State House for being so homophobic. They are embarrassing Montana. #LetHerSpeak

JUNGLE PRIMARY BILL:
Maybe there are some Republicans who have a conscience?
The Daily Montanan reported that a proposal to try to block U.S. Sen. Jon Tester in the 2024 election again failed to get off the ground in a legislative committee Monday — after being tabled last week.
It was also reported that House and Senate committees met with the premise of potentially reviving bills proposed by Sen. Greg Hertz, R-Polson, one of which would have targeted Democrat and incumbent Sen. Tester’s upcoming re-election bid with a “jungle primary.” Neither made it off the table.
There are just a few days left in this session, but I would not be surprised if the MAGA folks pull some other tricks to get the bill passed.
Maybe after the “Jungle Primary Bill” is completely dead, we can air-drop the sponsor in a real jungle for good riddance.

BIDEN ANNOUNCES & DAINES ENDORSES:
President Joe Biden announced this morning that he is running for reelection. He is 80 years old. You can watch his announcement video HERE.
Meanwhile, the Washington Post and other sources reported that Donald Trump received a powerful endorsement on Monday when Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), chair of the Senate Republicans’ campaign arm, said he’ll back the former president’s 2024 presidential bid. (Source)
Donald Trump is 76 years old. Daines is younger and a complete moron.
The greatest thing Biden accomplished was defeating Trump. Biden will beat Trump again if they get a rematch and Trump is not locked up.
I have written this many times: Biden and Trump are too old to be President. The job is too demanding for someone that age. We need a younger crop of candidates instead of ones who we hope don’t fall when they walk or create new words when they talk.

This AP story says our brave and bully Montana Republican house members vote tomorrow on censuring or even possibly expelling Zephyr. For saying they would have blood on their hands and presumably, not apologizing for it.
This is the same party that squeals like a stuck pig about “conservative voices being silenced” if some social media platform temporarily suspends someone for not following the rules. But silencing a transgender Democrat? Hey, no problem.

I have 5 nephews and 2 nieces who all live out of state but were all born and raised in Montana,all are in their thirties and early forties. All were raised republican and have voted GOP until recently. They live in Alaska, Arizona, South Carolina,North Dakota, Colorado, and Minnesota. They are medical doctors, educators, engineers, Federal Game Warden, CEO of hospital non profit and owner of construction company. They are troubled trying to understand what is happening with current Montana legislature unconstitutional bills but very disgusted with the treatment of Rep. Zooey Zephyr by GOP leadership. They are upset trying to convince friends and colleagues that all the Montana citizens are not bigots and hate trans. persons. Even though the last week of 24/7 national media attention on ignorant actions by Montana GOP to silence one duly elected representative Rep.Zephyr,who is trans. for speaking truth to power makes that almost futile.
I sincerely believe all my nieces and nephews are done with the Republican party, as I have for sometime.

Barney Regier is never going to let Zephyr speak unless she publicly kisses his ass.
He is reveling in the national spotlight as a MAGA Hero. He’s standing tall, a conservative bulwark against the entire national Godless LGBTQ agenda. He’s a red-blooded Montana manly man showing just how tough Montana manly men can be by lording his power over a transgender woman. And he’s coincidentally but providentially silencing a voice of conscience that’s been a thorn in the side of “his” hate-filled extremist right caucus all session long.
I read the other day that Mike Pence claimed the battle against “gender fluidity” was the battle FOR religious freedom.
Say what? Whose freedom? Certainly not the freedom of the LGBTQ community. That’s how these Taliban wannabes think: Our way or the highway. You WILL comply.

I was quite surprised that none of the women in attending didn’t beat his ass for him! You see, we don’t refer to our women as livestock. That’s a Regier thing. I don’t mind as long as the Regiers are willing to walk into a redneck bar and start calling women cows! I think the Regier clan would get an instant lesson in Montana culture!

Daines endorses Trump. What else do you need to know? Expect to get for whom you vote.
Finally! I get it. I understand why MAGAs hate drag. It’s not about sex. It’s about art! I didn’t realize until I watched this video. They’re right. Drag is art! Scan a room full of trumper MAGAs and try to pick out a couple that might appreciate art. I couldn’t do it! Hell, they’re too stupid to appreciate science let alone art. Too much theory for them. How could they begin to appreciate all the nuance of art? If it ain’t in the Bible, and it ain’t black and white, it ain’t for the MAGAs! They just don’t do nuance!
