DRILL BABY DRILL:

The Associated Press is reporting approvals for companies to drill for oil and gas on U.S. public lands are on pace this year to reach their highest level since George W. Bush was president, underscoring President Joe Biden’s reluctance to more forcefully curb petroleum production in the face of industry and Republican resistance.

What? How? Is Biden the “drill baby drill” President?

I doubt we hear thanks from U.S. Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) about this, but we may hear from the lefties who will be pissed at Biden for not curtailing the process.

Meanwhile, the western United States is burning, and some temperatures are reaching the 120s.

Pro tip – Buy some extra sunscreen and maybe a respirator for the smoke that will hit us hard in August…

TRUMP’S 12 LIES:

I caught this report on CNN while at the gym Monday morning.

CNN’s Brianna Keilar and John Berman fact check an interview that former President Donald Trump gave on Fox News where he told 12 lies about the January 6 capitol insurrection.

Apparently, nobody on Fox News has the balls to fact-check him. You can watch the report by clicking HERE.

THE WESTERN WORD POLL:

In case you missed it, a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee was removed by officials in Charlottesville, Virginia, this weekend.

The Associated Press (AP) also reported:

Also removed Saturday was a statue depicting Sacagawea, and explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, which has been criticized for a depiction of the Native American guide and interpreter some view as subservient and weak.
