PLANNED PARENTHOOD:

In a press release, Planned Parenthood Federation of America announced:

…the Trump administration, through an unethical and dangerous gag rule, has forced Planned Parenthood grantees out of Title X, the nation’s decades-old bipartisan program for affordable birth control and reproductive health care. Planned Parenthood health centers have been a part of the program since it was created nearly 50 years ago, and have been the largest provider, serving 40 percent of all patients who get care through the Title X program.

According to The Hill, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had set a Monday deadline for Title X family planning grantees to prove they are complying with new rules banning providers from referring women for abortions.

In case you were wondering, abortions are still legal in the United States of America.

Alexis McGill Johnson, Acting President and CEO, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, had this to say:

I want our patients to know: while the Trump administration may have given up on you, Planned Parenthood never will. Our doors are open today, and our doors will be open tomorrow. The Trump administration’s gag rule will reverberate across the country. This reality will hit hardest people struggling to make ends meet — including those people in rural areas and communities of color.

This issue will be decided in court.

As I have said before, Planned Parenthood provides great healthcare services.

TRUMP & GOOGLE:

On Monday, President Donald Trump posted the following on Twitter:

Wow, Report Just Out! Google manipulated from 2.6 million to 16 million votes for Hillary Clinton in 2016 Election! This was put out by a Clinton supporter, not a Trump Supporter! Google should be sued. My victory was even bigger than thought!

It did not take the fact-checking website PolitiFact long before they rated Trump’s claim as false.

Another day, another lie by Trump.

Maybe the best response came from Hillary Clinton:

The debunked study you’re referring to was based on 21 undecided voters. For context that’s about half the number of people associated with your campaign who have been indicted.

The fact is that Trump lost the popular vote. That will be a fact that he will never be able to get over.
