That Uranium One Deal/Scandal

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth. – Buddha

Probably one of the best explanations of the “Uranium One deal-Clinton Foundation scandal” came from Fox News anchor Shepherd Smith.

The Washington Post reported that Smith debunked what his own network has called the Hillary Clinton uranium “scandal,” infuriating Fox viewers, some of whom suggested that he ought [to] work for CNN or MSNBC.

Since I am a little older, I can still remember back to a time when we wanted and expected our anchors to tell us the truth and be accurate and not partisan.

You can catch the explanation from Smith below. It’s some of the best six minutes of reporting that you will ever see from the Fox News channel:

President-Elect Donald J. Trump

Historical. Shocking. Stunning.

I know a lot of people were shocked about how well Donald Trump did in last night’s Presidential election. I was one of those people who predicted he would lose – lose big time.

He won.

I wondered throughout the evening how so many pollsters could get this race so wrong. This was kind of like the “Dewey versus Truman” race.

About 10:45 p.m. there were only a handful of states left to call with about 78 electoral votes left to grab. Trump was sitting at 244 electoral votes to Clinton’s 215. He was leading in a few of the remaining states. I was thinking that this race ended up like watching a wounded animal. You just wanted to end it and put the Clinton supporters out of their misery so we could go to sleep.

Around midnight, John Podesta, the campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton appeared at their election party and told the audience something like they can all wait a little longer and that they were not going to have any more to say tonight. So she did not concede.
