BLOODSTAINED MEN:

Great Falls (MT) is not well-known for protests, but every once in awhile there’s a protest that catches the attention of people and that’s what happened on Thursday.

I guess the local media missed it or did not quite know what to say about it.

A group called the “Bloodstained Men” showed up to protest circumcisions. Yes, circumcisions. They are anti-circumcision.

From my research, I believe this must be the western swing of the group. Their website lists 20 dates starting July 12 in West Jordan, Utah and ending July 31 in Salt Lake City. Great Falls was day 14. In Montana, they also protested in Billings and Helena. Yee-haw!

I also learned from their website that 16+ functions are destroyed when the foreskin is amputated. Ouch!

One of The Western Word’s faithful readers sent me a photo from the protest in Great Falls. Notice the “blood” near the groin area of the white pants. Catchy.

TRUMP & CUMMINGS:

On Saturday, President Donald Trump tried to further divide the country. This time he went after U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings of Maryland.

Some say that Trump was watching a Fox & Friends segment about Cummings’ district and got his information from that.

Cummings is a very honorable man. He is a national treasure.

I’m thinking that Trump went after Cummings because he is a powerful member of Congress, and because Cummings is black and because he is a Democrat. Some people called the attacks racist.

Trump seems to have problems with black people and females, especially if they are powerful.

Trump attacked Cummings on Twitter, saying:

Cumming District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess. If he spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous & filthy place.

Trump continued going after Cummings all weekend via Twitter. On Sunday afternoon, Trump called Cummings a racist.

The Baltimore Sun Editorial Board went after Trump saying, “Better to have a few rats than to be one.” Read the editorial HERE.

Shame on you, President Trump.

JARED KUSHNER:

As you probably know, Kushner is Donald Trump’s son-in-law. He is married to Ivanka Trump.

The Inquisitr is reporting that Kushner is accused of renting squalid apartments in the Maryland district Donald Trump called ‘Rodent-Infested Mess.’

The Inquisitr reported on a Baltimore Sun story that said:

Tenants living in Kushner’s apartments complained of “poor maintenance, harsh rent collection techniques, and relentless pursuit of old and sometimes dubious debts generated after tenants moved out.” Tenants complained on Yelp of decrepit conditions in some apartments, with construction crews leaving garbage in hallways, leaks that were never repaired, and even rodent infestations that were not addressed. Others warned of predatory renting practices, with schemes aimed at squeezing renters out of fees and evictions without proper notice or protections.

Imagine that you are a federal prisoner and you received the death penalty, but the federal government has not executed anyone for over 15 years.

The prisoners sit on death row and figure they would be there for the rest of their lives until…

The Justice Department said Thursday the federal government will resume executing death-row inmates for the first time since 2003. (AP)

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

The Associated Press reported that Attorney General William Barr instructed the Bureau of Prisons to schedule executions starting in December for five men, all accused of murdering children.

The AP reports that there are 61 people on death row.

As I have written before, I am in favor of the death penalty. I’m sure with the moratorium on executions, and with reinstating executions there will be appeals because someone will try to say it is cruel and unusual punishment.
