Tuesday’s Quick Hits: Treason Summit?

So I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today. – President Donald J. Trump (Trump was asked who he believes, his intelligence agency or President Putin, about meddling in U.S. elections.)

Most people agree that Russian President Vladimir Putin owned U.S. President Donald Trump during the summit in Helsinki. Basically, Trump sided with Putin who denied meddling in the U.S. elections of 2016. By doing so Trump went against his own intelligence agencies.

“President Putin says it’s not Russia,” Trump said. “I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

Even the conservative “Drudge Report” posted “Putin Dominates in Hel” on the top of their website Monday.

Some say that Trump got his ass handed to him in meeting with Putin and that Trump folded like a cheap suitcase when dealing with Putin.

Some called Trump’s actions treasonous. Others asked, “Did Trump aid and abet the enemy?”

Now more than ever people believe that Putin and the Russians have something damaging on Trump. Now people want to know why Trump and Putin met alone.

There are rumors that more people will leave the Trump Administration over his siding with Russia. Good for them.

Reuters reported that before the summit even began, Trump blamed his own country for the deterioration in relations.

“Our relationship with Russia has NEVER been worse thanks to many years of U.S. foolishness and stupidity and now, the Rigged Witch Hunt!” he said on Twitter.

The Russian Foreign Ministry tweeted back: “We agree.”

Trump should not feel too bad about his performance. Later in the day, Fox News’ Chris Wallace was easily handled by Putin during an interview.

Maybe the Russians even have something on Fox News!

Товарищи. Это может быть хорошей идеей освежить ваш русский язык или взять курс новичка на русском языке.

Comrades – It might be a good idea to brush up on your Russian or to take a beginner’s course in the Russian language.
