Welcome to Terrific News Tuesday (TNT)!
In case this is your first time reading TNT, this column is all about good news. I know it’s hard to believe, but I won’t be complaining or criticizing anyone or anything in this column today – just writing about some terrific news that caught my attention!
Here is some of the good stuff in this edition of TNT:
- Armed Forces Day
- Josh Huestis
- Pawsitively Adorable
- Crossing the Street
- NBA Playoffs
Armed Forces Day:
Just a reminder – this Saturday (May 20) is Armed Forces Day. This is the day we get to celebrate and thank those who are serving in the military.
As a reminder, Memorial Day is the day we honor those who have died while serving our country. Veterans Day is the day we honor those who have served in the military.
It’s good to see CMR grad and professional basketball player Josh Huestis coming back to his hometown of Great Falls to be the featured speaker at the Great Falls Tribune’s second annual Northcentral Montana Sports Awards Banquet. The banquet is May 22.

Crossing the Street:
A traffic camera somewhere in China shows a Chinese police officer stopping his car and traffic to help an elderly man cross the street. The video has supposedly gone viral in China.
Check out the video HERE.
There are (finally) four teams left in the NBA Playoffs. In the Western Conference, we have San Antonio and Golden State, and in the Eastern Conference, we have Cleveland and Boston.
The games are televised on ESPN and TNT. The way the schedule is set up there should be a game just about every day.(NBA.com)
