The Bag of Cash:
The Associated Press reported that Arlington, Massachusetts, resident Jasper Dopman, age 6, was walking with his father, Erik Dopman, on April 18 when he spotted a cloth bag on the ground near a school. The bank bag contained $2,000 in cash and deposit slips. It had been lost by a restaurant employee.
Jasper and his dad turned the bag into police and they received an Outstanding Citizen Award – and gifts from the restaurant!
As their parents played along, the twins were ticketed by New York City Police officers for driving their tiny Range rover down the sidewalk.
