Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. – Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)
When You don’t move the mountains I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers as I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!
-“Trust in You” by Lauren Daigle
For some reason, this song seems to be played a lot when I am out for my daily walks and listening to Air1. The four lines (above) seem to stick in my mind.
We live in a world where everything is now, now, now. Often we don’t want to work for, or wait for, what we want. Maybe God is telling me in the song, “Trust me – I can handle this.”
Here is the music video for the song. Enjoy…
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise – in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? – Psalm 56:3-4 (NIV)
Have a great week!
