Caught My Eye…

Some people are such treasures that you just want to bury them. –Unknown

Welcome to the big show to end the week “Caught My Eye” (CME)!

If you are a first-time visitor, CME is posted right here every Friday morning. This is when I take a look at some of the stories I did not have time to write about during the week. I often throw in a touch of sarcasm to make you smile – or to irritate you just a little – maybe both.

Topics that I am providing commentary about today include the Little Rocket Man meeting, Generic Unnamed Challengers, Man on River (Update), Best Cities for St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations, Maher’s Rules for Actual News, and One More Thing!

The Sunday Message

Little darling
It’s been a long, cold lonely winter
Little darling
It feels like years since it’s been here
– “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles

It’s a big week coming up! First we have St. Patrick’s Day on Monday and then the first day of spring is Thursday! Things are looking up, whoop, whoop!

Here’s an Irish blessing for you:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Song of Solomon 2:11-12 (NCV)
Look, the winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Blossoms appear through all the land. The time has come to sing…

Take a moment to enjoy “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles:
