I don’t personally know him, but from reading his obituary it seems that Larry Upright lived a pretty wonderful life in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He had a “beloved” wife, children, and grandchildren. He had a career in the Building Automation Industry. He was retired and an “avid golfer.” He was a member of The Club at Irish Creek. He was a Freemason and a Shriner.

Upright died last week at the age of 81.

After the normal stuff we often read in obituary like the date and time for the service, where to make donations in lieu of flowers, the family added this sentence:

Also, the family respectfully asks that you do not vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
