As a political junkie, I am enjoying this time of year. It’s funny to watch what is happening within the Democratic and Republican parties.
The Democrats have saddled the United States with tremendous debt after saying they would control spending. People are kind of sick of their leadership already.
Before that, Republicans had spent us into debt, but it was pale compared to what the Democrats have done.
So, the Republicans should have the inside track on the 2010 elections, right? Now with the Tea Party gathering strength, the GOP folks are fighting within their party.
It seems to me that if you are not an ultra-conservative, then you are not “Tea Party” material. That’s too bad for moderate folks like me.
Last night when Tea Party-backed Christine O’Donnell won the GOP Primary in Delaware, somebody at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) told some news organization that O’Donnell would not be getting any help from the NRSC.
The person who made that statement should be fired. When you hire inexperienced children to work in an organization, these things happen. Continue reading
