Back in May when President Obama nominated Elena Kagan to the U.S. Supreme Court, I wrote that there really was not much there and her nomination did not excite me one way or the other.
After a few days of confirmation hearings, nothing much has happened. There were no bombshells or anything that would lead one to believe that she would not be confirmed by the United States Senate.
I think the most important thing to come from these hearings was that we found out that Senator Al Franken was a pretty good artist.
