If you are like me, you are probably a little sick of the “Shut Down” issue with the Federal Government and the back and forth going on between the two sides. The two major players, Harry Reid and John Boehner, are not exactly the most articulate people in Washington. In fact listening to someone running their fingernails across the chalkboard is more appealing than hearing them speak.

If our Federal Government does shut down, The Western Word already has a column written and ready to go – so stay tuned! I experienced a “shutdown” first-hand back in 1995-1996 and I can bring a unique perspective to this circus…
