Welcome to the big show to end the week “Caught My Eye” (CME)!
If you are a first-time visitor, CME is posted right here every Friday morning. This is when I take a look at some of the stories I did not have time to write about during the week. I often throw in a touch of sarcasm to make you smile – or to irritate you just a little – maybe both.
Topics that I am providing commentary on today include Rob Quist, Greg Gianforte, Steve Daines, Amanda Curtis, Donald Trump, Russia, Mike Flynn, the Freedom Caucus, and much more!
Be thankful we’re not getting all the government we’re paying for. – Will Rogers
Welcome to “Thursday Numbers!” In case you’re a first-time visitor, this is the weekly column where I take a look at the numbers that are in the news (in descending order) and provide commentary sometimes sprinkled with just a little bit of sarcasm.
This week’s topics include Marco Rubio, unemployment, towing, House budget deal, this column, the NBA, Amanda Curtis, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Kansas City Royals, and much more!
Welcome to Caught My Eye – the place to be on Friday!
Reminder: Veterans Day is this Tuesday, November 11. That is a great day (as is every day) to thank a veteran for their service.

Today I write about Malmstrom’s Security Forces, Montana Supreme Court, Amanda has options, Democrats: Don’t Jump, Jeannette Rankin, most misused Social Security Number, KC Chiefs to Play in London, and much more!
It was a pretty boring election night in Montana, except when the Montana Secretary of State’s website with election results went down a few times. Most of the candidates I thought would win actually won and the races that I was interested in were not that close.
Thanks to all the people who visted my website and followed me on Twitter throughout the evening.
Here is my analysis of Campaign 2014 – I write about U.S. Senate and House races, Montana Senate, Montana House, State Legislature, Supreme Court, Ballot issues, plus I grade the media coverage of it all.
