If you were picking which teams would be undefeated after three weeks in the American Football Conference (AFC), you probably would not have picked the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the National Football Conference (NFC), you probably would not have picked the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears. They play each other tonight.
While being undefeated this early in the season is noteworthy, it does not mean a team is playoff bound: Remember the 2009 Denver Broncos (started 6-0 and ended 8-8).
So, this is not a column to declare that the Steelers and the Chiefs will meet in the AFC Championship game. It’s a long season. Continue reading
