OPERATION EPIC FURY:
About an hour before President Donald Trump’s deadline of 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, in which he said he would wipe out Iran and that “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” Trump blinked.
You can read his social media post about the latest extension HERE.
This is the fifth time Trump has extended a deadline. I don’t think we should have been involved in the war with Iran to begin with, but these extensions make Trump look weak to the world.
Trump is even being called a TACO – which stands for Trump Always Chickens Out.
While our troops involved in the Iran war will be in danger, we can look forward to Trump lobbing a two-week barrage of unhinged, self-serving bile on social media to act tough.

2026 MONTANA CAMPAIGN NEWS:
You’re Out…
The Daily Montanan reports that eight candidates were disqualified from the primary ballot for failing to file business disclosures and statements of candidacy with the Commissioner of Political Practices within days of filing for office.
The Daily Montanan is reporting the following candidates were disqualified:
Democrats Lyle Hedin (Senate District 22); Justin Kucera (Senate District 23); Wes Siler (Senate District 32); Patricia Anglin (House District 20); Abigail Thomas (House District 70); Craig Sundberg (House District 81); Rustin Bielski (House District 91); and Republican Shannon Woodward (House District 77).
What a waste of $15.
STATE SENATE BILL 437:
Upper Seven Law announced that on Monday, April 6, 2026, a group of transgender, intersex, and Two Spirit Montanans filed a supplemental complaint challenging Senate Bill 437 (“SB 437”), which readopts unscientific and unconstitutional definitions of sex across Montana law to discriminate against certain people based on their gender identity. Plaintiffs also asked the court for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to prevent SB 437’s enforcement while the case is ongoing.
“Montanans believe in—and the Montana Constitution guarantees – government that stays in its lane,” said Rylee Sommers-Flanagan, Upper Seven Law’s executive director and attorney for Plaintiffs. “Invasive, discriminatory government policies that target valuable community members for not complying with some legislators’ politically motivated but unscientific views of biology are both unacceptable and unconstitutional.”
Upper Seven Law, a Montana-based nonprofit law firm dedicated to holding the powerful accountable, represents plaintiffs.
A copy of the supplemental complaint can be viewed HERE.
