It’s Friday! Here are the topics that caught my eye for today’s column:
- Bobcats/Griz 2.0
- Epstein Files Release
- Trump Creating News
- One More Thing
BOBCATS/GRIZ 2.0:
Are you ready for the biggest football game in Montana history? The Montana Grizzlies play the Montana State Bobcats in Bozeman on Saturday. The winner of this semifinal playoff game will go to the FCS National Championship game.
ABC is scheduled to televise the game. It begins at 2:00 p.m.
I have no idea who will win the game. The Bobcats are tough at home, and according to some odds I have seen, they are favored by 5.5 points. The Bobcats beat the Griz 31-28 earlier this season in Missoula.
By the way, the FBS playoffs start tonight! (Source)
EPSTEIN FILES RELEASE:
Today (Friday, December 19) is the date that Public Law 119-38 orders the Epstein files to be released (30 days after enactment, which was Nov. 19).
U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had the following piece of advice about the release:
Reminder that the Epstein Files are supposed to be released on Friday and every political development that you see between now until then should be viewed with that in mind.
That seems to be the case. Read on…
TRUMP CREATING NEWS:
The Associated Press (AP) reported that President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday that could reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug and open new avenues for medical research, a major shift in federal drug policy that inches closer to what many states have done. The AP also reported that reclassification by the Drug Enforcement Administration would not make it legal for recreational use by adults nationwide, but it could change how the drug is regulated and reduce a hefty tax burden on the cannabis industry.
They should just make it legal. The White House Fact Sheet can be found HERE.
Then we have the post on X from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt:
I have just been informed that the highly respected Board of the Kennedy Center, some of the most successful people from all parts of the world, have just voted unanimously to rename the Kennedy Center to the Trump-Kennedy Center, because of the unbelievable work President Trump has done over the last year in saving the building. Not only from the standpoint of its reconstruction, but also financially, and its reputation. Congratulations to President Donald J. Trump, and likewise, congratulations to President Kennedy, because this will be a truly great team long into the future! The building will no doubt attain new levels of success and grandeur.
I think people should be dead to have a government building named after them. The AP reports that this may not be a done deal HERE.
NPR is reporting that Health officials from the Trump administration announced several moves Thursday that will have the effect of essentially banning gender-affirming care for transgender young people, even in states where it is still legal.
NPR also reported that Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Mehmet Oz, who leads Medicaid and Medicare, announced the measures in a press conference at the headquarters of the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. The ban takes the form of two new proposed rules from Medicaid and Medicare. The first would prohibit doctors and hospitals from receiving federal Medicaid reimbursement for gender-affirming care provided to transgender patients younger than age 18. Medicaid is the health care program that covers low-income Americans.
Trump also announced plans for a “Patriot Games” next year that will pit top high school athletes from across the country against one another as part of a series of events to mark 250 years since the nation’s founding.
Some are calling it the “Hunger Games.”
May the odds be ever in your favor…
ONE MORE THING:
Fake people have an image to maintain. Real people just don’t care.
## HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ##

In what has to be the surprise of the century, the Trump DOJ is refusing to turn over all those Epstein files today as required by law, saying they need more time to redact out everything.
In other news, it sounds like they only started the redaction process since Thanksgiving.

Prediction: The Republicans in Congress will do nothing as the administration breaks this law.
We’re “A Nation of Laws … That Don’t Apply to Trump”
I doubt anything will be done about them missing the deadline. Trump & Company think they are above the law. -JmB
Well it figures.
That $1776 “Warrior Dividend” is not specifically bonus tariff money at all but repurposed housing allowance that Congress had already allocated in the BBB. Could be from any revenue source, like the troops own income taxes.
So there’s still hope that tariff money will be used to pay down the public debt like Trump told us. Start holding breath … Now!
