CASCADE COUNTY DETENTION OFFICERS:
It appears there’s a problem with some of the officers in the Cascade County Detention facility.
Applause goes to The Electric for keeping track of these incidents, so we don’t have to keep score at home.
The Electric is reporting that two more Cascade County detention officers were arrested in August. Joshua Yellow Owl, a Cascade County Sheriff’s Office detention officer, was charged with misdemeanor counts of partner family member assault, causing injury, first offense; and tampering with a communication device.
The Electric also reported that another detention officer was cited in late August by GFPD with speeding, no insurance, and a first offense DUI, Slaughter said. The two cases follow the arrest of Lloyde Ogden, Jr., earlier in August for PFMA and assault with a weapon. (Source)
So that makes three embarrassments for Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter. I do appreciate him coming forward with the information. I think he understands that he has a problem that needs to be handled. The buck stops with him.
I think any officer who gets a DUI and/or is charged with partner family member assault should have their employment terminated.
TRYON’S ENDORSEMENTS:
Great Falls City Commissioner Rick Tryon has let his Facebook followers know who he prefers in the upcoming Great Falls Municipal Election. It was really not a surprise.
Tryon writes on his personal Facebook page:
Our city election is right around the corner and folks are paying more attention to candidates and issues as we roll on towards November 4th.
Mayor Cory Reeves and City Commissioner Joe McKenney – Serving our Community have my full support and will both get my vote. They are both rock solid public servants.
Tryon also said he would “probably make an endorsement, for what it’s worth and since I’m being asked, on that second commission seat in the next couple of weeks.”
I can’t wait!
Tryon’s endorsements are pure gold for me. Now I know who I won’t be voting for in the municipal election. Candidates Reeves and McKenney, along with Tryon, who is not up for reelection, have cost city residents a lot of money by voting to raise fees, utility rates, and taxes. We need to elect people who have a backbone and will say no to increased taxes, fees, and rates. Those three stooges are making it harder for people to live in Great Falls.
U.S. SPACE COMMAND:
The Associated Press (AP) and several other sources are reporting that President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that U.S. Space Command will be located in Alabama, reversing a Biden-era decision to keep it at its temporary headquarters in Colorado.
The head-scratcher reason for this move was also reported by the AP:
Trump on Tuesday said his initial plans to locate the headquarters in Huntsville were “wrongfully obstructed by the Biden administration.” But he also said the fact that Colorado uses mail-in voting “played a big factor also” in moving the headquarters away from Colorado Springs.
“The problem with Colorado is that they have a very corrupt voting system,” Trump said.
Incredible.
The Space Command headquartered at Malmstrom AFB would have been perfect. I would like to see Montana’s U.S. Senators, Steve Daines and Tim Sheehy, fight more for new military missions in Montana. The time is ripe with Daines being a favorite of Trump, and with Sheehy beating Trump’s #1 target in the last election, Jon Tester, they should be able to get Trump to send some love Montana’s way.
But, Montana does allow voting by mail…
ONE MORE THING:
I never fully realized how funny I was until I started talking to myself…
## THE END ##

Trump’s next move will be to terminate all military installations in states that have mail voting, or vote blue.
The guy has 100% brought back the old Boss Tweed style corrupt spoils system of government.
I can see that happening. -JmB
