OPERATION MIDNIGHT HAMMER:
That is the name given to the military action taken by the United States against Iran’s three nuclear sites over the weekend. Seven B-2 bombers dropped fourteen 30,000-pound bunker buster bombs, which are called Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), on the nuclear sites. The bombs cost several million dollars each.
Of course, the supporters of President Donald Trump applauded the action. Every member of the Montana Congressional delegation (All MAGAs) supported the bombing.
On the other hand, Democrats complained about the action of the President being unconstitutional. Some talked about Trump needing congressional approval for war. The last time Congress declared war was World War II. There have always been disagreements about what a President can do regarding the attack of other countries. This is no different.
I saw an ongoing YouGov poll that so far showed most people believe the President’s actions mean we are at war with Iran. A large majority does not want the USA to be at war, and a majority also strongly disapproves of the way Trump is handling Iran.
So now Americans must be on alert, no matter where they are. Iran will retaliate. We are in the shit now.
HOUSE BILL 551:
Shame on Republican Montana Governor Greg Gianforte for vetoing State House Bill 551. (Source)
Multi-millionaires, like Gianforte, just don’t understand how hard it is for low-income families to make ends meet.
This bill establishes a state program to eliminate reduced-price copayments for school lunch and breakfast, with the intent of removing financial barriers for families and reducing administrative burdens for school districts. The cost was $600,000. (Source)
Again, shame on the heartless Gianforte for his veto of HB 551.
KNUDSEN & LEE ENTERPRISES:
Always striving to get his name in the news more than McGruff the Crime Dog, Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen has his sights set on Lee Enterprises.
According to a Lee Enterprises newspaper, the Helena Independent Record, Knudsen announced Friday that his office has launched an investigation into Lee Enterprises following a cyber attack on company systems earlier this year that compromised the personal data of nearly 40,000 employees and subscribers. Lee Enterprises owns several newspapers in Montana, and MAGAs, like Knudsen, hate these newspapers.
I will sleep better tonight knowing Knudsen is on the case and taking a bite out of crime.
Knudsen cannot run for AG again, so I imagine he wants to be Governor.
ONE MORE THING:
Have you ever looked at one of your relatives, shook your head, and thought, “How the hell are we related?” (Pinterest)
## HAVE A GREAT WEEK ##

In 2016 Obama dropped 26,000 bombs without congress approval.
Trump dropped 36.
It really does not matter.
BTW – There were over 7 million TONs of bombs dropped in Vietnam.
