Greetings! Here are the topics for today’s column:

BOMB, BOMB, BOMB IRAN?

I predict that the Trump Administration will start bombing Iran very soon. We have placed refueling tankers in the Middle East. President Trump left the G-7 summit early to get back to Washington. The President held a meeting with his National Security Council.  

I downloaded the Signal App, so maybe the Secretary of Defense will include me in a group chat about the attack plans. (Background) 

While some are fine if we bomb Iran, I don’t know if I approve. There are different opinions about how close Iran is to having a nuclear weapon. Nine countries have nuclear weapons. (Source) I have watched Trump for many years, and he does nothing unless it helps him. Plus, I don’t have a lot of faith in the people he has working for him in key positions. 

Please pray for our military personnel in these troubling times. 

UPDATE – DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS:

Yesterday, I posted a link to an article from The Mirror/Guardian that contended that VA doctors can deny care to Democrats and unmarried veterans. 

Snopes has checked into the claims. The VA and the Trump Administration deny the claims,  and The Mirror/Guardian stand by their reporting.

U.S. SENATOR MIKE LEE:

In case you missed it, U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) posted some very insensitive comments on social media after the shooting in Minnesota.  

Several sources are reporting that Lee has now deleted his controversial social media posts about the assassination of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband after several people criticized the Utah Republican for his comments.

One of those people was former U.S. Senator Jon Tester (D-MT), who reportedly said, “You’re a United States Senator. Wake the f— up.” (Source)

ONE MORE THING:

I sorta like how Trump and his administration was all “We’re not involved, this Iran thing was all the Israelis on their own, honest” to begin with, but now that it’s apparent the operation is a big success and the Israelis have the upper hand, Tubby Trump is strutting around acting like he’s the one in charge, “we” have total air superiority, making demands if the Iranians, and etc.

    Meanwhile the Israelis are smart enough just to keep quiet saying nothing about who really took the risks and pulled off the operation, and let Tubby continue to feed his fat ego, because eventually he’ll get puffed up enough to put American assets in harm’s way just to prove he really is a glorious war fighter.

    If he does, could be a great time for some adversary elsewhere to kick up a little dust while he’s distracted.
