HOUSED GREAT FALLS:

A salute to Housed Great Falls, First United Methodist Church, and the many volunteers who helped operate a cold-weather drop-in center and served 1,700 hot meals this past winter, according to a report from MTN News.

It was also reported that Housed Great Falls and First Methodist Church are also working to find solutions to the community’s housing needs and have launched long-term plans to build a pallet shelter community to provide transitional housing for unhoused and unsheltered members of Great Falls.

MTN reports that each unit would have a space for a bed, a sink, a heater, an AC unit, and an outlet. The organizations are raising money to buy land to build around 20 single-occupancy units. Each 8’x12’ unit would cost between $4500 and $5000 to build. The entire project would cost around $1.5 million, with annual operating costs around $400,000.

This sounds like a very worthwhile project. More information can be found HERE. 

ACTBLUE & TRUMP:

On Thursday, President Donald J. Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum to crack down on illegal “straw donor” and foreign contributions in American elections, following reports and congressional investigations regarding potentially unlawful activities through ActBlue and other online fundraising platforms.

The Memorandum directs the Attorney General to investigate and take appropriate action concerning allegations regarding the use of online fundraising platforms to make “straw” or “dummy” contributions and to make foreign contributions to U.S. political candidates and committees, all of which break the law.

Of course, just because the MAGAs say there are “unlawful” actions going on with ActBlue, that does not mean it is happening. Some of the MAGA turds on social media have already found ActBlue and the candidates they supported guilty.  

TRUMP 2028 MERCH:

Fox Business and other sources are reporting that the official Trump Store, an online retailer, launched a red “Trump 2028” hat, priced at $50 and proudly made in America. 

Of course, the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says, “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice…” (Source)

In an interview with NBC News last month, it was reported:

Trump did not rule out the possibility of seeking a third term in the White House, which is prohibited by the Constitution under the 22nd Amendment, saying in an exclusive interview with NBC News that there were methods for doing so and clarifying that he was “not joking.”

Our President is a fruitcake.
