BERNIE & AOC IN MISSOULA:

The “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here with Bernie Sanders in Missoula” is this Wednesday (April 16).  I expect Adams Center in Missoula to be at capacity for the event.

I saw reports that 36,000 attended the event in Los Angeles and 34,000 attended the event in Denver. (Source)

The MAGAs in Montana have already started the name-calling, and they are trying to be funny on social media. While Montana is MAGA country, the western part of the state may be ripe for the Democrats to win some seats if things don’t improve.

TRUMP’S PHYSICAL EXAMINATION:

We are so lucky to have such a fit and healthy President leading our country. He wins golf events and attends UFC events with his entourage. This man is a specimen of perfect health. If only we could all be a little more like our Dear Leader! I bet he could still excel at most any sport he played. He’s an animal. 😉  

In case you missed the news, President Donald Trump had his annual physical on Friday. 

According to a Memorandum from the Physician to the President, Donald Trump is in excellent physical and mental health. In the summary, it was noted that Trump has “frequent victories in golf events.”

Trump’s height is 75 inches, and he weighs 224 lbs. 

If you believe the Memorandum, then I could probably sell you some ocean-front property near Geyser, Montana. 

GRETCHEN WHITMER:

I thought when I saw THIS PHOTO of Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) in the Oval Office that it was probably fake. It was real.

Supposedly, Whitmer was at the White House to show some bipartisanship. According to a report from Vanity Fair, Whitmer’s goal in meeting with Trump was ostensibly to discuss issues impacting Michiganders. Instead, Trump signed Executive Orders to strip security from two men: Chris Krebs and Miles Taylor. 

I think the headline from Vanity Fair put it best:

Gretchen Whitmer Tried to Walk a Tightrope with Trump—and Fell on Her Face

The subheadline was worse:

Democrats skewered the Michigan governor’s Oval Office meeting, with one party operative reportedly calling it “a f–king disaster.”

If Whitmer was thinking of running for President, her chances took a hit due to Trump playing her like a drum. 

TRANS ATHLETES:

In case you missed it, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver did a show about trans athletes. It was so good that current Trump loyalist, Megyn Kelly, took notice and attacked Oliver on her show. (Source)

I feel sorry for Megyn. She is extremely bitter these days. I think something is wrong in her life. 

The information about the episode states:

Oliver discusses why trans athletes seem to be at the center of U.S. politics right now, the nuances around competition and safety, where the conversation could be headed, and what The Rock would do in a barre class.

U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon twice referred to artificial intelligence — AI — as “A1.” (Source) 

The A.1. sauce brand capitalized on the blunder and posted on social media that “every school should have access to A.1.” (Source)

  1. Did Tester ever release his physical examination reports? How about Biden? Did Biden pass his mental acuity test?

    Nice try Mike. Obviously both mental and physical health wasn’t a priority to you or your liberal buddies here.

        “White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has dismissed the idea of Biden taking a cognitive test during his physical, saying Dr. O’Connor does not believe it’s “warranted because of just who [Biden] is as president of the United States and everything that he has to deal with.”

        Yeah, Doc O’Connor is believable.

      • In the last year or so of his term, Biden was struggling. That is a fact.
        Not having a mental fitness test is as bad as lying about the results.

  2. Bernie and AOC spoke to a overflowing crowd of 20,000 in deep red Utah in Salt Lake Sunday evening. People stood in line hours to get in,sort of like Trump rallies of past. Bernie has stayed the course all these many years telling the truth on many subjects unlike Trump lies and wishy washy policies even though Bernie may be a Socialist Democrat. Bernie has many to far left policies for many but he at least is doing something to show the ordinary middle class that someone actually hears their concerns of the cruel and unusual Trump policies and is meeting them where they are and offers some hope to save the democracy that Trump seems to be hell bend on ending. Much more then any other Democrat party leadership seems to be unable to do. Bernie’s partner AOC a young progressive seems to understand the hopelessness of many of people showing at these rallies. She also doesn’t get the respect she deserves from the Democrat Party,who’s leadership is loaded with groups of late 70’s and 80 year olds who are hanging onto power till they slip into the grave. They don’t seem to care and they have no plan to fight off Trump. Even though I don’t support all of Bernie’s policies I certainly respect a man of 83 years that actually seems to understand and feel the anxiety and pain of what is left of the middle class and suffering imposed on the poor of Trump crazy tariff plans and cuts to government programs they rely on. I certainly would like to hear Bernie and AOC in Missoula Wednesday but unfortunately my health is not good enough to stand in line hours as I’m sure there will be way more then 7500 show up for those seats. On another front soon the clown show will be over in Helena, where no property tax relief as been passes yet as was supposedly number one priority of both political parties but the GOP did manage to pass another unconstitutional bill on sex definition which is the same as bill already struck done by court in 2023 as unconstitutional. How do we manage to elect so many idiots to do the same insane thing over and over.
