  2. I see by the paper this a.m. that failed county commissioner and MAGA kook Rae Rae is going to conduct a write in campaign since she got whipped bad in the primary. Great! That ought to assure a Don Ryan victory! I’m beginning to think that MAGA is just another word for stupid!

        My favorite Laura Loomer and X (formerly Twitter) story was when she handcuffed herself to the door of New York Twitter headquarters to protest getting a timeout or whatever, and all the Twitter employees just walked around her and paid no attention whatsoever while she threatened to stay even if she had to pee on herself. Which of course no one in New York has ever seen a crazy person do before.

    • Swede, a little more nuanced report on Walz’s Chinese connections. BTW, I worked with Chinese and Uyghur kids for two years in an exchange program which brought them here to Great Falls for high school. I got to know these kids very well. I was their baby sitter in the dorm so to speak.

      The Uyghur kids didn’t hold back. They explained in detail the genocide the Chinese were committing in their country. It’s awful. I feel so sorry for the Uighurs. Their country is being destroyed the same as in Tibet. And the Chinese methods are unscrupulous. Communism has nothing to do with it. They are more like Nazis. And Walz knows that.

      BTW, millions of Chinese students are coming here to study. And many of them try to stay. They have enough money to support our floundering schools and universities. It is not a good situation in my opinion.

  6. The implosion will be televised! The MAGAs are starting their cannibalistic feast. This is really interesting and disturbing at the same time. It’s really disturbing to watch the local police violate this woman’s rights at the behest of the MAGA hierarchy. How can they legally violate this lady’s free speech rights by saying she can’t speak? Once she’s removed from the building, she should be able to say what she wants, especially since she’s the former head of their party. Yet the mentally defective cops keep saying she can’t talk. Watch the videos at the bottom. Very strange. MAGAs self-destructing.

      • It’s not looking good for the GOP. They’re stuck in a time warp. Their ideas only resonate with the MAGA cult. The country is now much too diverse for their racist, misogynistic, effete policy proposals.

        And the conventions reflected that. The Dem convention looked like America. The MAGA convention looked like a Klan meeting consisting mainly of old, white, dried up old codgers who are never going to accept America as it is now. Diversity is here. Multi-culturalism is a real thing. And the future will be much different than the past. If they can’t accept that, they will have a bitter rest of life.

        I was lucky to have spent four years in the military that forced me to live and work with all kinds of people of different races I’d never seen growing up. So for me, (and I’m old), acceptance of diversity just comes naturally. I suspect a lot of old MAGAs never had such an experience. It might not hurt to require all kids to do a brief stint in the military. Diversity would no longer be an issue of division.

  7. This is so true. So I really must ask how Daines and the SEAL twins Zinke and Shady can still support Don old? I don’t get it. Oh sure, there are some local MAGAs who are so stupid the chickens peck’em. We expect them to not get it. They admire chaos and incompetence.

    But Daines and the twins are running for national office, and they’re all accomplished individuals. It just doesn’t compute. It defies logic that a person could achieve that level of success and still be so oblivious to the reality of the situation. Many republicans are now figuring it out and are attempting to salvage their party. And I wish them luck!

Surely there’s enough MAGA rubes in Montana to cough up the 2,500 bucks so the Zinkester and his pal Timmy can pay homage to their orange god and the J6 traitors.       • I got interested in the Eagles late in life, seemed too country for me during my Zepplin years. I’ve been all over the states myself but I’m more like Chevy Chase in the Lampoon movies, I burned rubber getting from one destination to another. Take it Easy would apply to me then.

      • Not sure of your upcoming route but if you have time there in northern Arizona the ghost town of Jerome is pretty cool, as is old downtown Prescott, and downtown Kingman is a real throwback.

When you elect unserious people of questionable intellect incapable of understanding and unwilling follow the basic rules necessary for a functioning democratic process to proceed in an orderly fashion established by precedent, tradition, and good faith, you end up with jerks. To simplify, elect jerks, expect a circle jerk! Exhibit A. And unfortunately, as evidenced by the only participants involved, public self-gratification is what passes for governing in MAGA world!     • Ellsworth spent the entire article talking about how politics in the judiciary is bad, how the court has been weaponized politically, and “we don’t want politics in the judiciary. That’s all we’re here to do.” But then at the end his very same “select” committee is there recommending a bill to allow judges to run on a partisan basis.

  12. OMG! Ouch! That had to hurt! Michelle Obama nails Trump with one for the ages! Talk about a swift kick to the privates! And like a kick to the privates, poor Donny’s gonna be feelin’ that one for a long time! For the leader of the free world to take a shot like that makes him the perpetual laughingstock that he is!   13. That’s pretty cool. Next to Montana, the desert southwest is my favorite place on earth. It’s as magical and mystical as Montana only warmer. As Montana fills up with moronic MAGA billionaires, I may have to move down there some day. Maybe the Navajo will let me hide out on their land. That’s my dream anyway. My escape plan. A lot of people don’t like the desert. I find it fascinating.
