(AP) — Donald Trump traveled to Montana for a Friday night rally intended to drum up support for ousting the state’s Democratic senator, but the former president’s plane first had to divert to an airport on the other side of the Rocky Mountains because of a mechanical issue, according to airport staff.

  1. It is sh*t like this that makes me go ballistic. When the public is locked out, sometimes it’s necessary to invite yourself in! I have done so in the past and have been thrown out of meetings and threatened with arrest by Jesse’s stooges.   2. Trump’s latest ad. I personally couldn’t belong to a party that was so racist. Those racist days are over and there’s no going back. I believe we are better than this. Inciting hatred is all trump has left.

    • Those racist days are not over. That’s exactly what “Make America Great Again” is all about – turning back the hands of time to when white males were the undisputed lords of America and anyone who was not a white male had no rights or power.

      And of course restoring a regulatory/economic environment friendly to white robber barons, rapacious polluting industrialists, and “the trusts”, too. Can’t forget that aspect of what MAGA means.

    Seems like a major security breach there, admitting that the US Navy Seals were operating in Gaza.

    • Me, personally, I’m glad the Zinkester is going to D.C. to fight Hamas there, for if we don’t fight them there, we’ll have to fight them here in Montana!

      • One could also infer that Walz was making remarks about gun control and keeping weapons designed for war off city streets, the kind of weapons he carried as a soldier. For purposes of war, during all his training for war.

        If Walz was going to spin a yarn that he had actually been in combat one would think he might have been more detailed, like talking about some specific war and filling in some details. Let’s say one as detailed as hunting and killing Hamas. Or my favorite a combat bullet wound hidden from superiors for years that just HAPPENED to resurface in Glacier Park some years later, but you still wanted to hide that wound from your military superiors even after all those years to allegedly protect brother SEALs, so you claimed you accidentally shot yourself in the Park, but then later when you were running for office and you wanted to puff up your military service it suddenly became a war wound again and amazingly you no longer cared about hiding the wound from military brass to protect those brother SEALs because your political ambition trumped that brotherly loyalty. Or hey it’s not a military story but still some stolen valor, how about a long rambling fake story about a harrowing near death experience in a helicopter. Now those there are some truly believable yarns with plenty of details to make them sound a lot better.

    was he calling his buddy Putin for a return trip to Moscow with a one-way ticket?

    Daines had his hands full convincing other Repubs to follow Zyrump off of this cliff. We shall see. Too bad he is not up re-election this cycle.
