Thursday Thoughts

Today is Thursday, July 27, 2023, and here are the topics I am providing commentary about today:

  • Montana State Fair
  • The Truth is Out There
  • Mitch McConnell
  • One More Thing

MONTANA STATE FAIR:

I Googled “Montana State Fair” and it took me to the Cascade County website. The message says:

CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES!
We are busy planning for the
2023 MONTANA STATE FAIR
JULY 28 – AUGUST 5, 2023

I guess they are waiting until the last moment to tell us their plans!

The fair begins Friday (Tomorrow). The Montana ExpoPark website has more details HERE.

THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE:

Stories about UFOs just got real yesterday! In other words, %$it just got real! I’m trying to be cool here although I am excited.

The Associated Press (AP) is reporting that the U.S. is concealing a longstanding program that retrieves and reverse engineers unidentified flying objects, a former Air Force intelligence officer testified Wednesday to Congress. The Pentagon has denied his claims.

The same officer said the U.S. government had information about extraterrestrial life, and that the U.S. likely has been aware of “non-human” activity since the 1930s.

So next time I write about being abducted by aliens and sitting between Elvis and Bigfoot on the UFO, please take me seriously.

Read the full story from the AP HERE.

MITCH MCCONNELL:

The Republican leader in the U.S. Senate, Mitch McConnell, made headlines yesterday when he froze during a press conference. He had to be escorted back to his office. McConnel had a blank stare into nowhere. He’s fallen a few times recently – even more than me! He seemed to be fine later on in the day. People of all ages can have health issues, but not all are caught on camera. McConnell is 81 years old.

We see talk almost daily about President Biden’s age (80) and recently Senator Diane Feinstein (90) has had some problems. We saw Strom Thurmond work in the Senate until he was 100. Robert Byrd was 93. I’ve never understood why anyone would want to work that long. It must be the power they feel from being in that position. It’s certainly not the pay, as most are wealthy.

It would be hard to place an age limit on any elected office., but the voters can. I know that the older folks have the experience, but it is time we elect younger folks – at least younger folks who are not already at retirement age.

ONE MORE THING:

An account I follow on social media (The Other 98%) posted this message about McConnell’s health scare:

What happened to Mitch McConnell is scary, but thank goodness he has excellent healthcare, and as much time off as he needs to get better, while still getting a full salary from his job, and if he has to step down, he will receive a pension and healthcare for the rest of his life.

It should be the same way for every single American!

Mitch would be the last person to see that you get healthcare. Yet he was elected by Kentucky. And, the most effective political hypocrite in recent memory if not in history. Therin is the source of our dilemma and the result of thousands of unnecessary deaths in our great aspirational country. D.V.F.T.P.

  2. I found it interesting that the UFO investigation provided a protocol between countries to make sure that a UFO event didn’t start a world war accidentally. In other words, we would be communicating unusual activities and sharing information.

I am quite familiar with the Malmstrom UFO incident, so I’m a believer. I got to Malmstrom in ‘72, and at that time there were still lots of guys around who were on duty that night in ‘67. They had stories to tell. I had never heard of the incident before. But their stories now match what the follow up investigations report. I used to go down in the command capsule and play cards with the missile commanders. They told me exactly all about what happened that night. These guys wouldn’t lie. They knew their jobs. It was incredible. Security was a little different back then. You could still go down in the capsules if invited. I don’t know if you can do that now.

Here’s a good, thorough article to scare the crap out of you.
