God may exist, but science can explain the universe without the need for a creator. – Stephen Hawking
Back in 2010, there were some stories, like this one, Hawking versus God: What Did the Physicist Really Say about the Deity? During an interview on Larry King Live, that is where the quote at the beginning of this column came from.
After his death, there was a whole lot of judgment being thrown around on social media sites.
Sadly, a lot of the judgment came from Christians. In many cases, Christians are their own worst enemies.
As a Christian myself, I am sad that people die without having some sort of relationship with Jesus Christ. I’m not one to tell people which religion you should choose to associate with, but I do believe your life will be better with a relationship with God.
Instead of judging Hawking for his atheist views Christians should be sad for him.
Maybe we failed Stephen Hawking?
