Welcome to Terrific News Tuesday (TNT)!
In case this is your first time reading TNT, this column is all about good news. I know it’s hard to believe, but I won’t be complaining or criticizing anyone or anything in this column today – just writing about some terrific news that caught my attention!
Here is some of the good stuff in this edition of TNT:
- KettleHouse Amphitheater
- State Bar Exam
- All Iowa Lawn Tennis Club
- Amazon Prime Day
- 7-Eleven Day
The 4000 seat KettleHouse Amphitheater located on the banks of the Blackfoot River in Bonner, Montana, is set to open this week.
Congrats to the owner of the venue. It’s great to see more state of the art places open to hold outdoor concerts.
State Bar Exam:
The Associated Press reported that the Montana Supreme Court has adopted an interim rule allowing accommodations for breastfeeding mothers while taking the state bar exam.
The rule needs to be made permanent.
All Iowa Lawn Tennis Club:
From this week’s On the Road segment from CBS News…
What once was his family’s cattle feed lot is now the All Iowa Lawn Tennis Club — a replica of Wimbledon’s center court. It took Mark Kuhn a year and a half to build it. Then he learned to maintain it during an internship with the Wimbledon ground staff.
Now he lets people play for free with a reservation. People from 42 states and six countries have played there.
