The Sunday Message

There are no atheists in foxholes.  -Anonymous

A study conducted by Gallup International and the WI Network of Market Research conducted 63,898 interviews in 65 countries and found that 90 percent of all Chinese consider themselves to be atheists or not to be religious. On the other end of the scale, 94% of the people from Thailand consider themselves religious.

The survey also found that in the USA, 56% consider themselves religious, 33% are not religious, and 6% are atheists. See the answers HERE.

You can read a story in the Washington Post HERE about the least religious countries.

The survey can serve as a guide for church and groups to determine where to best go to spread the good news about religion to other parts of the world. I do admire people who travel to foreign countries to talk to others about God. It’s rewarding work although sometimes it is dangerous.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
