Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you an automobile. ― Billy Sunday
We often hear someone say, “I’m a good person” or “I volunteer” or “I donate time and money to the church and other good causes.” Many believe this is their ticket to heaven.
While those are nice things to do, I personally don’t believe that’s their ticket to heaven. Click HERE to find out how to be saved.
It’s also troubling to hear some Christians judge another person’s Christianity. Only that person and God knows what is in their heart.
I don’t like it when people judge others because of their religious beliefs.
I am fascinated by other people’s religious beliefs. I’ve read about Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Mormonism, Catholicism, and Jehovah’s Witnesses to name a few.
I don’t scream or yell at people who come to my door to talk about their religions. I somewhat admire them for trying. If I am yelling at someone who comes to my door to talk about their religion, what does that say about mine?
If a friend believes differently than I do, I like to ask them questions about their beliefs – but I would never judge their choice of religion.
Besides, in the end we’ll find out who was correct…
